Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Girona will be aiming to extend their winning run to five games when they host Malaga to their Estadio Municipal de Montilivi. Girona look unstoppable at the moment, and, no doubt, they want to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive. The Catalans, though, head into the match with a severely-weakened squad as all Borja Garcia, Santi Bueno, Ramon Terrats, and Aleix Garcia are banned for the match.
The good news for the hosts is that all Baena, Valery, and Artero are back to contention. Los Boquerones, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Fuenlabrada and Huesca. Malaga sit in the danger zone ahead of the trip to Barcelona, but they should not be looking for points in Friday’s clash with Girona, who have found their best form of late. Both Hicham and Chavarria are sidelined with injuries for the visiting team, as well as Jairo.
