Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Huesca will look to recover from a 2-1 loss to Sporting Gijon when they take on Almeria on Sunday afternoon. Huesca are eager to put an end to their three-game winless run, but they will have a big fish to fry against Almeria. Midfielder Javier Perez is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while forward Joaquin Munoz is a major doubt.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, are on a quest to return to the Spanish top flight. As Almeria have been in a fine form of late, beating both Zaragoza and Albacete in style and given Huesca's recent struggles, away win should definitely be consdiered. Lucas Robertone has yet to overcome a shoulder injury, while fellow Almeria midifelder Iddrisu Baba remains doubtful. The two teams meet for the first time since April 2022 when they played out a 1-1 draw in La Liga 2.
