Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Sunday’s football game at Estadio Municipal de Butarque pits together Leganes and Alcorcon. The capital club continue with their old habit of impressing at home, while struggling on the travels, and you should know that they are eyeing their fourth consecutive win at home in La Liga 2. Leganes failed to take a shot on target in a goalless draw at Albacete, but they are surely capable of beating Alcorcon in the suburbs of Madrid.
Los Alfareros, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Fuenlabrada, with the team extending their losing run in the league to eight games. Since the visitors are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Madrid, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Both Carlos and Castro Urdin are sidelined through suspension for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Rubén Pérez):

Rubén Pérez is a Spanish footballer who was born in Ecija on April 26, 1989. The 178-cm tall midfielder is a product of Atletico Madrid youth academy, but he made no more than one appearance in La Liga for los Rojiblancos. Ruben Perez, though, played 53 games for Atletico Madrid B before joining Deportivo La Coruna on loan.
The Spanish footballer spent some time on loan at Getafe, Real Betis, Elche and Torino as well before joining Granada in 2015. After making 31 appearances for the Andalusian side from 2015 to 2018, Ruben Perez joined Leganes on loan in 2016.
In 2018 he signed a permanent deal with Leganes and he has been playing for the capital club ever since. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. Ruben Perez has 5 caps for Spain U21 team, but he has yet to receive a call-up for the senior squad.
Highlighted Team (Alcorcon):

Founded on July 20, 1971, Alcorcon have been competing in Segunda Division since the 2010/11 season. Los Alfareros welcome their rivals at Santo Domingo, the stadium opened in 1999. The venue has the capacity of 5,100 people. Alcorcon have made it to the Segunda Division playoffs on several occasions, but they have never participated in La Liga.
The club’s biggest success in Copa del rey came in the 2009/10 season when they made it to the last 16 of the prestigious competition. Alcorcon suffered a 3-2 (on agg.) loss to Racing Santander in the round of 16. The club’s home colour is yellow, while their away kit is mainly blue.
Los Alfareros played their first official game on September 8, 1971, with the team losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid youth team. The likes of Cordoba and Leganes are regarded as the club’s main rivals, while David Rodriguez is the club’s all-time top goalscorer.
