Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
After sharing the spoils with Malaga, Mirandes will look to record their first win of the season when they take on Amorebieta on Monday evening. Los Rojillos were more than fortunate not to lose their opener as los Boquerones missed a number of clear-cut chances to score, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. All Chavarria, Calero, and Ramon remain in the recovery room, while Jozabed and Benkhemassa are rated doubtful for the game.
Amorebieta, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Girona. The newcomers did not seem to be competitive at this level, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Mirandes this time out. All Orozco, Etxaburu, and Gil are pushing for a start for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Carlos Julio):
Carlos Julio Martinez is a La Masia product who plays for Mirandes in Segunda Division as a right back. Martinez started his youth career at the Barca football academy, but in 2013 he moved to Club Esportiu Europa. At the start of his senior career, the Dominican footballer played for both Villarreal B and Villarreal C before joining Marbella.
After scoring two goals in 63 appearances in the league for los Blanquillos, Carlos Julio Martinez moved to Mirandes in the summer of 2018. Speaking of his international career, Martinez made his debut with the Dominican Republic national team on December 8, 2012 in a 2-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean Cup.
His primary position is right-back, but he can be used as a right midfielder as well. Carlos Julio Martinez was born in Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic, and he has a dual citizenship.
