Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Mirandes and Deportivo La Coruna square off against each other at Estadio Mendizorotza in what promises to be an exciting game of football. Los Rojillos have been showing signs of improvement of late and they must be high on confidence following back-to-back wins over Granada and Albacete. With no fresh injury worries to report, Fran Justo is unlikely to make changes to the team that rolled over El Queso Mecanico at the weekend.
The Galicians, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sporting Gijon. Deportivo, though, are not regarded as good travellers and given Mirandes’ fine form in early September, we predict that the visitors will return to La Coruna with their hands empty. The good news for the visiting side is that talented forward David Mella is back from international duty. Anyhow, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side.
Highlighted Team (Mirandes):

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
