Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Mirandes will be aiming to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Tenerife when they host Leganes to their Estadio Municipal de Anduva on Matchday 29. Los Rojillos do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team losing four of their last five games, and, as a result, their Segunda Division status is in great danger. Goalkeeper Ramon Juan remains on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
The capital club, on the other hand, aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive. Since Leganes are desperate to return to winning ways as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Both Juan Munoz and Yvan Neyou are banned for the visitors, while defender Josiah Omeruo remains on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.
Highlighted Player (Manu Garcia):

Manu Garcia is a product of Real Sociedad youth academy. The Spanish midfielder, who was born on 26 April, 1986, started playing for Real Sociedad B at the age of 19, making 101 appearances for the Basque outfit between 2005 and 2008. He scored 18 goals for Real Sociedad B and, as a result, Eibar chiefs decided to sign him in July, 2008. Manu Garcia spent the 2008/2009 season on loan at Real Union, scoring eight goals in 29 appearances for the club and in 2010 he joined Logrones.
Finally, in June 2012 he made probably the best decision of his career as he signed a contract with Segunda Division side Deportivo Alaves. Manu Garcia made 37 appearances for El Glorioso on his debut season and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular.
Garcia scored five goals for Alaves in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign and, no doubt, he helped the team secure promotion to Primera Division. He has a contract with Alaves which expires on 30 June, 2018.
Highlighted Team (Leganes):
![Leganes](https://footballpredictions.com/wp-content/plugins/fp-highlights/imageid/team/1678.png)
Leganes are a Spanish football club that have mostly been playing in lower leagues. Los Pepineros play their home games at Batarque (Madrid) and the capacity of the stadium is just 8,138. Leganes secured their promotion to the Spanish La Liga for the first time ever in 2016 and, no doubt, that is considered the club’s biggest success.
Leganes’ bitterest rivals are fellow capital club Getafe and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the South Madrid derby.
The colour of the team’s home kit is white and blue, whilst their away kits are green. The likes of Pierre Webo, Samuel Eto’o, Ivan Zarandona, Jose Chamot, Catanha, Ruben Falcon, Jordi Lardin and Pedro Lago are famous players who were part of the Batarque outfit in the past. Lady Maria Victoria Pavon is the first female president in the history of the club and she has been in charge of the club since 2009.
