Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere will host Saturday’s Segunda Division game between Real Oviedo and Amorebieta. Los Azules failed to win the previous three league fixtures, but this game could be the turning point for the promotion-chasing hosts. Summer signing Borja Baston will be the man to watch in the home team despite failing to find the net in a goalless draw with Leganes, while Marco Sangalli is pushing for a start.
The newcomers, on the other hand, are stuck in the relegation zone with no more than 13 points in their pocket. The Basques experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 loss to Lugo, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. When the two teams met in Copa del Rey seven years ago Oviedo rolled over Amorebieta 4-0, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.
Highlighted Player (Alejandro Arribas ):
Born in Madrid, Spain on May 1, 1989, Alejandro Arribas is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Oviedo in La Liga 2. Arribas is a very experienced defender as he played for Primera Division sides Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna, Deportivo La Coruna and Sevilla in the past.
He is a product of Rayo Majadahonda football school, but he did not see any game action with the club at senior level. Alejandro Arribas played for Mexican club UNAM before signing a three-year deal with Real Oviedo in the summer of 2019.
He made his debut with los Azules in a 2-1 loss to Fuenlabrada on August 31, 2019. The towering defender has never received a call-up for the Spain national football team. His main position is centre-back, but he can be used as a right-back as well if needed. The right-footed footballer has a contract with Real Oviedo until June 30, 2021.
