Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Ponferradina play host to Lugo at their Estadio El Toralin on day 20 of the new La Liga 2 campaign. La Ponfe do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the previous five league fixtures, but a triumph over Lugo could see them escape the relegation zone. With no fresh injury worries to report, boss David Gallego is unlikely to make changes to the team that managed to hold Levante to a goalless draw in midweek.
Meanwhile, Lugo aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Sporting Gijon, but they will have to do it without midfielder Juanpe, who limped off with injury in the last league match. Fran Justo’s troops suffered three defeats in the previous four away matches in Segunda Division, and given Ponferradina’s display in the goalless draw with los Levantinos, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side.
