Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
There will be fireworks when Real Sociedad B and Eibar face each other in a small Basque derby. La Real B have been playing some low-scoring games at the start of the season, and we are positive that they will adopt yet another defence-minded approach against los Armeros. You should bear in mind that the newcomers failed to find the net in the previous three league fixtures.
Eibar, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs in the new La Liga 2 campaign. Los Armeros head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Leganes, and seeing that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their first four games of the season, a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Reale Arena. Defender Anaitz Arbilla, who limped off with injury at the weekend, is unlikely to feature in the Basque derby.
Highlighted Player (Rafa Soares):
Born in Marco de Canaveses, Portugal, Rafa Soares is a professional footballer who plays for Vitoria Guimaraes as a left-back. Rafa is a product of the Porto football academy, but he did not see any game action in Primeira Liga with the Dragons.
After scoring eight goals in 61 appearances with Porto B, the Portuguese defender spent a couple of seasons on loan at Academica, Rio Ave, and Fulham. In 2018 he played for Portimonense, but nowadays, he wears the number 5 shirt at Vitoria Guimaraes. His primary position is left-back, but he is used as both left midfielder and left winger as well. Rafa’s preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with Vitoria Guimaraes until June 2021.
