Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Tenerife and Real Oviedo face each other at Estadio Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez in the last game of the season. Tenerife played out a 1-1 draw with Espanyol in their last league math to stay in the top half of the table. Los Insulares are eyeing a top-ten finish, and we are positive that they will go for a win in Saturday’s football game. All Valera, Padilla, Suso, and Joselu are pushing for a start for the home team.
Real Oviedo, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Mirandes. Los Azulones aim to finish the season in style as well, and seeing that they are level on points with Tenerife ahead of Matchday 42, share of spoils is on the horizon. Oviedo boss Jose Ziganda is likely to stick to his rotation policy, with all Obeng, Borja, Jimmy Suarez, Blanco, and Viti pushing for a start.
Highlighted Player (Adrian Ortola):
Adrian Ortola is a Spanish goalkeeper who plays for Segunda Division side Tenerife. Born in Xabia, Spain on August 20, 1993, Ortola spent his youth career at the likes of Javea and Alicante before moving to Villarreal in 2008.
The 185-cm tall shot-stopper did not see any game action with the senior team, but he has 43 appearances in total for Villarreal B and Villarreal C. In 2013 he moved to Barcelona, being assigned to the reserve team. He played for Alaves and Deportivo La Coruna on loan as well before signing a two-year deal with Tenerife in the summer of 2019.
Adrian Ortola made his Tenerife debut in a 2-0 loss to Zaragoza on August 17, 2019, and he kept his first clean sheet with los Insulares in a goalless draw with Las Palmas the following month. Speaking of his international career, the goalkeeper has four caps with Spain U20 team.
Highlighted Team (Oviedo):
Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Real Oviedo is a Spanish club that plays home games at Carlos Tartiere. Carlos Tartiere is one of the biggest stadiums in Segunda division as it can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Los Azules competed in La Liga in the 1990s, but in the 2001/02 campaign they suffered relegation to Segunda Division.
Real Oviedo have not competed in the Spanish top flight ever since. In the 1991/92 season los Azules represented Spain in the UEFA Cup, but Genoa proved to be a big catch for them in the round of 64. Real Oviedo have a rivalry with Sporting Gijon, with the two teams facing each other in the Asturian derby.
The likes of Robert Prosinecki, Stan Collymore, Dely Valdes, Abel Xavier, Paulo Bento, Marius Lacatus, Viktor Onopko, Ratomir Dujkovic, Juan Mata, Michu, Ibrahima Balde, and Slavisa Jokanovic are the famoust footballers who were part of Oviedo in the past. Carlos Munoz Cobo is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart.
