Our prediction for this Serie A match:
There will be fireworks when Roma and Milan square off against each other at Stadio Olimpico in the Serie A derby. The Romans failed to extend their winning run to four games on Monday evening, with the team losing to Atalanta in Bergamo, but a win over Milan will see them regain their spot in top four. Paulo Dybala has joined Chris Smalling and Georginio Wijnaldum in the treatment room, while wing-back Leonardo Spinazzola pushing for a start as well.
The Rossoneri, on the other hand, faced no difficulties in a 2-0 win over Lecce which helped them climb to the Champions League berth. Roma and Milan, though, seem to be evenly matched and we believe that gamblers from all around the world can find value in betting on draw. Midfielder Tommaso Pobega and forward Olivier Giroud should be the only absentees in the away team, while the opposition back-line should have Rafael Leao at bay as the Portugal international scored a brace at the weekend. Defender Davide Calabria is back from suspension.
Highlighted Player (Andrea Belotti):
Andrea Belotti began his youth career at Grumellese at the age of 10 and after spending three years at the club, he joined Albinolefe in 2006. As expected, he made his senior debut for the club on 10 March, 2012 and it has to be noted that the Italian striker scored 14 goals in 37 league appearances for the Seriani. Belotti, who was born on 20 December, 1993, joined Palermo on loan in 2013 and in July, 2014 the Sicilian outfit turned his loan move to a co-ownership.
The Italian attacker scored 16 goals for Palermo in 62 league appearances for the club and on 18 August, 2015 he signed a deal with Torino for a fee of €7.5 million.
Three months later he scored first goal in the Italian top flight for Torino and he helped the team record a 2-0 win over Bologna. Andrea Belotti has 18 caps for Italy U21 and he scored nine goals for the team.
Highlighted Team (Milan):
AC Milan are regarded as one of the biggest club in Italy. The Rossoneri compete in the Italian Serie A and they have won 18 domestic trophies. Speaking of the club’s European success, Milan have clinched seven Champions League (European Cup) trophies.
Milan were on the verge of beating Liverpool in the 2005 Champions League final, but the Premier League outfit came from three goals behind and eventually won the prestigious trophy on penalties. The Rossoneri play their home games at Stadio San Siro (80,018), the stadium that was opened in 1926. It is well known that Milan’s bitterest rivals are Inter and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals face each other in the Derby della Madonnina.
Milan were founded in 1899 by a lace-maker from England named Herbert Kilpin and a businessman Alfred Edwards. Milan’s home kits are red and black and that is why the team’s nickname is Rossoneri (The Red and Blacks).
The likes of Alessandro Costacurta, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Roberto Donadoni, Dejan Savicevic, Frank Rijkaard, Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit and Andrea Pirlo are the most famous footballers who have represented the San Siro outfit.
