Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Stadio Renato Dall’Ara will be the centre of attention when Bologna and AC Milan face each other in the Serie A round 9. The Rossoblu lost several first-team regulars in the summer transfer window and, as a result, they are sitting in the bottom half of the table. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Riccardo Orsolini, who scored the opener in a 2-2 draw with Genoa at the weekend. The likes of Martin Erlic, Michel Aebischer, and Lewis Ferguson remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The Rossoneri, on the other hand, recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Udinese at the weekend despite Tijjani Reijnders’ sending-off. The Dutch midfielder misses Saturday’s game through suspension, but Paulo Fonseca still has a number of high-profile footballers to choose from. AS Milan are high on confidence following the Champions League win (3-1) over Club Brugge, away triumph should be considered. Theo Hernandez is banned for the match as well, while the likes of Abraham, Calabria, Bennacer, and Florenzi remain in the treatment room.
