Our prediction for this Serie A match:
After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Torino, Napoli will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Serie A when they take on Cagliari at Sardegna Arena on Matchday 15. The Neapolitans are eager to make a flying start to the year, and we predict that they will prove their worth on the field. Koulibaly, Mertens, and Osimhen are all sidelined with injuries, while Demme is rated doubtful for the game.
A man to watch in the away team will be Lorenzo Insigne, who scored a stunner in the draw with Il Toro. The Sardinians, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Roma. Since Cagliari are on a seven-game winless run in the Serie A, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Napoli, who aim to keep their Scudetto hopes alive. The likes of Klavan, Rog, Aresti, Luvumbo, and Farago are all out of contention through injuries for the hosts.

Highlighted Player (Valter Birsa):

After making just one appearance for Primorje in the 2003/2004 campaign, Valter Birsa joined Gorica at the age of 17. He impressed with the Slovenian outfit, scoring 26 goals in 61 league matches and, as a result, earned a lucrative move to Sochaux.
The left-footed midfielder, who plays as a winger as well, did not score too many goals for the French outfit (8), but it has to be noted that he was sent on loan to Auxerre (in 2009) before his contract expired. Despite being on Liverpool’s radar, Birsa joined Genoa on 2 February 2011 and he made nine league appearances for the Rossoblu in the 2011/2012 Serie A campaign.
After ending his loan spell with Torino in 2013 he joined Italian giants Milan, in what was a swap deal for Luca Antonini, who moved to Genoa. Valter Birsa has 12 caps for Slovenia U21 and he represented the Slovenian national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He scored his first goal for Slovenia on 9 September, 2009 against Poland.

SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from the city of Naples which is playing currently in the Serie A. The club was founded officially in 1926 but the history from Napoli reaches back to 1904 with the club Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club that fused with Internazionale Napoli and was called FBC Internaples.

In the end of the eighties Napoli had the biggest success in the club history with the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. Diego Maradona was able to win the league title twice, the national cup and the UEFA cup. The moment Maradona left the club Napoli got into big financial trouble.
In 2004 the local club was bankrupt. Despite the help of financial investors the club got regulated to the Serie C. After 6 years of playing in lower divisions Napoli managed to get back in the Serie A in season 2007/2008. Famous players that played for the club from Naples are: Maradona, Zola, Cavani, Blanc, Di Canio, Cannavaro.
