Milan will look to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Torino when they host Spezia to their Stadio San Siro on Saturday evening. The Rossoneri are now six points behind league leaders Napoli, meaning that this match is of big importance for the reigning champions. Experienced attacker Olivier Giroud is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while all Saelemaekers, Ibrahimovic, Florenzi, and Calabria remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The Bianconeri, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last five matches. Considering that Spezia have suffered a loss in each of their six away games this term, anything but an easy home win would be a major surprise. To make things even worse for the away team, important defender Dimitrios Nikolaou is banned for the match.

Andrea Ranocchia is an Italian football player born on the 16th of February 1988 in Assisi. Ranocchia started his football career playing in the youth of Perugia and Arezzo. After making his debut for the first team in 2006/2007 Ranocchia played for Genoa and Bari before Inter Milan showed their interest and transferred him to Milan as a part of a trade for Destro.
Ranocchia plays for the Italian national team as well where he made his debut in November 2010. Unfortunately Ranocchia was not selected for the national team to play in the World Cup in 2014.
With a length of 195cm Ranocchia is a tall strong central defender. Ranocchia is known for his tactical defensive vision. Despite his age Ranocchia played for a lot of difference football clubs, which made him, mature in his playing style. Ranocchia was part of the Bari squad that won the Serie B in 2008/2009. On the highest Italian level Ranocchia won the Coppa Italia in 2010/2011 with Inter Milan.

Spezia is a professional Italian club based in Spezia, Liguria. The Bianconeri secured promotion to the Serie A in the 2019/20 season, with the team beating Frosinone in the Serie B playoffs final. Spezia are well known for their black and white home jerseys, and black is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The club’s home ground Stadio Alberto Picco has the capacity of 10,336 people. The venue was opened back in 1919, with architect Gregotti being in charge of the project. In 2002 the club chiefs decided to reach an agreement with Inter which saw Spezia become Inter’s feeder club.
