Our prediction for this Serie A match:
After failing to win the previous seven Serie A games, Salernitana will look to return to winning ways when they take on Monza on Matchday 26. I Granata failed to upset Inter at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at the weekend and, as a result, they are still stuck in the relegation zone. Even though the rock-bottom side face a must-win situation against Monza, home win should not be considered as Fabio Liverani’s men are low on confidence ahead of Saturday’s encounter. All Lorenzo Pirola, Federico Fazio, and Norbert Gyomber should miss out with injuries for the home side.
The Biancorossi, on the other hand, aim to build on a 4-2 win over AC Milan. Monza, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from the Stadio Arechi showdown. As for the away team, goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio limped off with injury in the last league match, with Alessandro Sorrentino likely to step up.
