Australia will look to climb to automatic qualification places when they take on Oman at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon. Japan and Saudi Arabia go head to head at Saitama Stadium, meaning that a win over Oman could see Australia regain their spot in top two. A man to watch in the away team will be Celtic man Tom Rogic, who found the net in a 4-0 win over Vietnam, while in-form striker Jamie Maclaren should continue to lead the line for the Socceroos.
Oman, on the other hand, have slim chances of securing a top-three finish, and seeing that the visitors want this win more than the hosts, we are tempted to put our money on Graham Arnold’s charges. Both Al Hajri and AL Aghbari are pushing for a start, speaking of the home team.

Despite being born in Singapore on November 17, 1993, Ryan Edwards is eligible to represent Australia in international matches. The 175-cm-tall midfielder has 18 caps with Australia U-23 and it has to be noted that he played for the Socceroos at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Speaking of his club career, Edwards is a product of AIS, the high performance sports training institution from Australia, but in 2011 he was spotted by Reading scouts.
