Belarus
Czech Republic will be aiming to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Wales when they take on Belarus in Ostrava on Thursday evening. The Czechs were producing fine displays at EURO 2020 finals, and they surely aim to build on those performances. Keep in mind, though, that key attacker Patrik Schick is banned for the match after he was sent off in a 1-0 loss to Wales. In his absence, fit-again Burnley attacker Matej Vydra is likely to lead the line for the hosts.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a heavy 8-0 loss to Belgium. Belarus obviously struggle at the back, and even though aforementioned Bayer Leverkusen ace Patrik Schick misses the match through suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the home team. In their last meeting in a competitive game Czech Republic defeated Belarus 3-1.
Highlighted Player (Tomas Vaclik):
Tomas Vaclik is the Czech Republic international goalkeeper who has been with FC Basel since 2014. Having begun his professional career in Vitkovice, the 27-year-old shot stopper also played for Viktoria Zizkov and Sparta Prague before he moved to Switzerland.
At the beginning of his career Tomas Vaclik draw plenty of attention from all across Europe and has even signed a deal with Dutch side De Graafschap in 2011, which was later rescinded after Vaclik failed his medical and was forced to return to Prague.
During two seasons with the Swiss giants FC Basel, Tomas Vaclik has managed to establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper averaging 31 appearances per season. He played a massive role in his team’s back-to-back title challenges and has gone to extend his contract with Basel as a reward, a contract that will keep him with the Swiss club until 2021.

Belarus national football team have been competing on the international stage since 1992. The Belarusians played their first match against Lithuania on July 20, 1992, but the game was not FIFA-recognized. The White Wings faced Ukraine in their first official match, with the team sharing the spoils with the fellow former Soviet republic.
Belarus have yet to qualify for a major tournament and they have slim chances of booking their place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The Belarusians recorded their biggest win on September 4, 2014, with the team rolling over Tajikistan 6-1 in Borisov and speaking of their biggest loss, they were hammered by Austria (0-5) on June 11, 2003.
Alexander Hleb is the most famous footballer who played for the Belarus national team and it is well known that he spent four seasons at Barcelona. Belarus play their home games at Borisov Arena and they wear white shirts and white shorts when welcoming their rivals. The colour of their away kits is black.
