Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Eintracht Braunschweig will look to recover from a 3-0 loss to Elversberg when they take on Nurnberg in the 2. Bundesliga final round. Die Lowen are desperate to avoid relegation and a win over Nurnberg should see them meet the goal. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but midfielder Julian Baas is expected to drop to the bench following his under-par performance against Elversberg. Fellow Max Marie is likely to step up.
The Bavarians, on the other hand, are stuck in the middle of the table, with nothing to play for in Sunday’s clash. Given Nurnberg’s poor form in the German second tier, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the relegation-threatened hosts. To make things even worse for the away team, talented midfielder Rafael Lubach is banned for the last game of the season.
