Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
BBBank Wildpark will host Saturday’s football game between Karlsruher and Kaiserslautern. The hosts aim to recover from a 3-1 loss to Fortuna Dusseldorf and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Red Devils. Both Tim Rossmann and Christoph Kobald are major doubts, while the likes of Lars Stindl, Efe-Kaan Shilaroglu, and Daniel OShaughnessy should miss out with injuries.
Kaiserslautern, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win and given their signs of improvement in front of goal, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Defender Erik Durm has yet to overcome a hip injury, but he should be the only absentee in the visiting team. Keep in mind, though, that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of the last four meetings between the two clubs in the German second tier.
