Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Magdeburg will be aiming to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Hannover when they face Greuther Furth in the 2. Bundesliga round 4. Magdeburg are determined to escape the danger zone and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s clash. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team, but both Diawara and Loric remain in the treatment room.
The Cloverleaves, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Eintracht Braunschweig and Holstein Kiel. Magdeburg, though, are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that they will take advantage of Greuther’s shaky defence. Speaking of the away team, goalkeeper Timo Schlieck remains on the sidelines with injury, while experienced defender Philipp Ziereis will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. You should bear in mind, though, that the two teams have shared the spoils in each of their last four meetings in the German second tier.
