Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Nurnberg and Paderborn square off against each other at Max-Morlock-Stadion in what promises to be an interesting 2. Bundesliga game. The Bavarians do not seem to be at their sharpest in the early stages of the season and given their three-game losing run, home win should not be considered. Bear in mind, though, that former German striker Miroslav Klose has a full squad to choose from against Paderborn.
The visitors, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to Fortuna Dusseldorf at the weekend, but it has to be noted that defender Tjark Scheller was sent off after just 12 minutes. Even though the 23-year-old misses the trip to Bavaria through suspension, we are tempted to bet on Paderborn as they seem to be more of a team than Nurnberg. The likes of Bauerle, Kinsombi, Muller, and Veza Zambrano miss out with injuries for the away team.

Speaking of the club’s recent history, Nurnberg did well to win the German Cup in 2007, with the team beating Stuttgart in the title game. Speaking of the club’s European success, it has to be noted that the Bavarians played in the European Cup quarter-finals in 1962. Schalke are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
