Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
St. Pauli and Paderborn face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Millerntor-Stadion on Monday evening. St. Pauli were struggling in the first half of the season, but they have been producing excellent displays in 2021. Timo Schultz’s men are on a three-game winning run at home ground, but the match against Paderborn will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Both Zander and Dittgen are pushing for a start.
Paderborn, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Regensburg and Darmstadt in the previous two league fixtures. Steffen Baumgart’s men have been struggling at the back of late, and given St. Pauli’s form in the second half of the season, we predict that the visiting team will return home empty-handed. Midfielder Bastian Schonlau, who suffered an injury in the 3-2 loss to Darmstadt, is unlikely to feature against St. Pauli.
