Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
All eyes will be on Signal Iduna Park when Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, the two old rivals, face each other in the Bundesliga round 3 on Saturday. The Yellow-Blacks aim to keep their 100% record in the 2022/2023 season intact, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Summer signing Sebastian Haller remains on the sidelines through illness, and there is every chance his replacement Anthony Modeste will lead the line for the hosts.
Die Werderaner, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back draws with Wolfsburg (2-2) and Stuttgart (2-2), but given their shaky defence, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. As for the visiting side, both Amos Pieper and Jean-Manuel Mbom are out of contention with injuries, while Christian Gross is a major doubt, and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
