Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
After sharing the spoils with Mainz at the weekend, Eintracht Frankfurt will look to return to winning ways when they face St. Pauli on Sunday afternoon. Die Adler rolled over Leipzig 4-0 in their last home game, which is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of St. Pauli’s visit. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Hugo Ekitike, who has netted 15 goals in the German top flight so far this season, while the likes of Kaua, Mario Gotze, Jessic Ngankam, and Mehdi Loune remain in the recovery room.
Alexander Blessin’s troops, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Stuttgart, with the team remaining in the danger zone. With Eintracht Frankfurt being determined to make it to the Champions League, we predict that the visitors are going to return to the suburbs of Hamburg empty-handed. Defender Conor Metcalfe is back from suspension, while both Nikola Vasilj and Siebe Van Der Heyden are banned for the match.
