Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Borussia M’gladbach will be aiming to record their first win of the season when they take on Arminia Bielefeld at their Borussia-Park on Sunday evening. Die Fohlen failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. The good news for the hosts is that defender Matthias Ginter returns to contention after recovering from coronavirus.
Marcus Thuram, Kouadio Kone, Mamadou Doucoure, and Stefan Lainer, though, remain in the recovery room. Fit-again Switzerland international Breel Embolo should play some part in Sunday’s game as well. Die Arminien are not regarded as good travelers, and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from the match. All Stefan Ortega, Janni Serra, Barrett Laursen, and Sebastian Vasiliadis are sidelined with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Breel Embolo):
Born in Younde, Cameroon on February 14, 1997, Breel Embolo is a striker who plays for Bundesliga side Schalke 04. Embolo began his youth career at Nordstern back in 2008, but two years later he moved to Old Boys.
In 2010 the Switzerland international joined Basel and he continued playing for the RotBlau at senior level. After scoring 21 goals in 61 appearances for the club in the Swiss Super League, Breel Embolo signed a five-year deal with Schalke 04 in June, 2016 for a fee of €20 million.
The Schalke striker made his Bundesliga debut on August 27 in a 1-0 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt. Speaking of his international career, Breel Embolo has four caps for Switzerland U21 team and he made his senior debut on March 31, 2015 in a 1-1 draw with United States of America. Embolo is very powerful striker, he is technically strong, he has explosive pace and a composed finisher.
Highlighted Team (Arminia Bielefeld):
Arminia Bielefeld is a German club founded on May 3, 1905. Die Arminen play home games at Bielefelder Alm. The venue was built in 1926, and it can hold up to 26,515 spectators. Arminia Bielefeld have yet to win the Bundesliga trophy, but they did well to lift the West German Cup title on two occasions (1966, 1974).
Back in 1922 they won the Western German football championship, with the team repeating the success the following year. Arminia Bielefeld wear dark blue shirts when playing at home ground, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey. In the 2019/20 season Arminia returned to the Bundesliga, where they undisputedly belong.
Bruno Labbadia is considered one of the most famous footballers who played for the club. The ex Bayern Munchen attacker scored 50 goals in 98 appearances in the league for Arminia Bielefeld. Labbadia has two caps for the German national team, and six for the West Germany U21.
