Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Schalke 04 and Mainz face each other at Veltins Arena in the opening match of day 24. Die Knappen continue to struggle in the 2020/21 Bundesliga season, with the team sitting in the rock-bottom position with no more than nine points in the pocket. The relegation strugglers are desperate to keep their survival hopes alive, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against Mainz. However, home win should not be considered as Schalke’s injury list is pretty long.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, are only one point behind the danger zone, and they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the German top flight. Considering that Schalke have been struggling at the back of late, away win should be considered. Both Fernandes and Quaison are likely to miss the game with injuries for the visitors.
