Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Freiburg, Werder Bremen will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Borussia M’gladbach on Matchday 28. Die Werderaner quickly bounced back from a 4-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to avoid relegation to the German second tier.
Philipp Bagfrede misses the midweek fixture through suspension, while Ludwin Augustinsson, Kevin Vogt, and Kevih Mohwald are all rated doubtful for the match. Die Fohlen, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen. Both Denis Zakaria and Fabian Johnson are sidelined with injury, whilst Breel Embolo and Tobias Strobl will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. Anyhow, give Borussia’s current form, we predict that the relegation-threatened hosts are going to grab something from the match.
