Volkswagen Arena will be the centre of attention when Wolfsburg and Koln go head to head in the Bundesliga round 3. The Wolves dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Mainz before the international break, but their performances at the start of the season are giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of upcoming challenges. Vaclav Cerny is no longer part of the team after signing a deal with Turkish outfit Besiktas, while Swedish midfielder Mattias Svanberg misses out through suspension.
The Billy Goats, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Mainz and Freiburg. Wolfsburg, though, are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s encounter. Bearing any fresh injury concerns, Koln boss Lukas Kwasniok is unlikely to make changes to the team that outplayed Freiburg 4-1 on Matchday 2.
