Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Volkswagen Arena will host Friday’s football game between Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen, the two teams who sit in the top half of the table ahead of Matchday 9. Wolfsburg are undefeated in the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign, with the team heading into the match following back-to-back wins over Hoffenheim and Schalke 04. The Wolves aim to cement their spot in top six, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Friday’s clash.
As always, a man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Dutch international Wout Weghorst, who extended his goalscoring run at the weekend. Die Werderaner, on the other hand, shared the spoils with each of their previous five rivals in Bundesliga. Werder Bremen did well to hold Bayern Munchen to a draw at Allianz Arena, but we are tempted to put our money on the in-form Wolves this time out.
