Preston
Bristol City host Preston in the final round of the 2024/2025 Championship campaign. The Robins have had a solid campaign under Liam Manning and currently sit 5th in the form table, a reflection of their strong finish. They’ve taken points off tough opponents at Ashton Gate recently and will aim to sign off with a win. However, injuries remain a concern — Benarous, Cornick, Pring, McNally and Sykes are all ruled out.
Preston, 20th in the form table, have fallen away after a decent winter spell. They’ve lost back-to-back matches against QPR and Leicester, and arrive in Bristol without several key players: McCann, Potts, Whatmough, and keeper Woodman are all sidelined, while Greenwood and Frokjaer-Jensen are doubtful. Keane remains inactive, further weakening their attack. The last three meetings between these sides have produced mixed results — one win each and a draw. But with City in better shape and eager to make it to the playoffs, home win should be considered.

Robbie Brady is an Irish footballer who plays for Norwich City as a winger, but he is capable of playing at left back as well. Brady began his youth career at St. Kevin’s Boys, where he was spotted by Manchester United scouts. In 2008 he joined the Old Trafford outfit at age 16.
He played for Manchester United U-18 team, but he did not make his debut for the senior team. The Irish footballer played for Hull City on loan in the 2011/2012 and the 2012/2013 Championship campaigns and in January, 2013 he signed a permanent deal with the Tigers for an undisclosed fee. Robbie Brady made his Republic of Ireland debut on 8 September, 2012, in a 4-1 win over Oman and it has to be noted that he scored one goal and provided two assists for his teammates in the victory over the Asian team.
He represented the Boys in Green at the 2016 European Championship finals and he scored the winner against Italy that helped the team make it to the knockout stages of the showpiece tournament.

Bristol City are one of the two famous clubs from the city of Bristol. Formed in 1894 the Robins mostly participated in English lower leagues and they have never played in the Premier League. Bristol City’s bitterest rivals are Bristol Rovers and it has to be noted that two teams first met in 1897. Bristol City have outplayed their local rivals on 43 occasions in the Bristol Derby.
Cardiff City are regarded as Bristol City’s bitter rivals as well. The Robins play their home games at Ashton Gate, the stadium that was opened in 1887. Bristol City were semi-finalists of the League Cup two times (1970/1971, 1988/1989), with the team making it to the FA Cup final in 1909.
The Robins faced Manchester United in the title game, but they failed to upset the English giants in the Crystal Palace clash. It is well known that Bristol City footballers wear red shirts and blue shorts.
