Burnley will be aiming to stay in the automatic promotion berth when they take on Norwich City in the Championship round 42. The Clarets failed to impress in a goalless draw with Derby County, but their unbeaten home record is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of Norwich’s visit. Lyle Foster is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the midweek clash, with Hannibal Mejbri being ready to step up.
The Canaries, on the other hand, played out a boring goalless draw with Sunderland on Tuesday evening. Norwich City, though, are not regarded as good travellers and that is the main reason why we are going to bet on Burnley, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. You should bear in mind that Burnley have emerged triumphant in each of the last three meetings between the two teams in the English second tier.

Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
