Our prediction for this Championship match:
Saturday’s football game at Coventry Building Society Arena pits together Coventry City and Reading. The Sky Blues have been producing fine displays at the start of the season, with the team beating both Nottingham Forest and Blackpool, while losing at Barnsley. Coventry City aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but beating Reading is easier said than done. Both Kelly and Eccles are sidelined with injuries, while Sweden international Viktor Gyokeres, who scored the winner in the midweek clash, should continue to lead the line for the hosts.
The Royals, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Bristol City. Since Veljko Paunovic’s men are determined to return to winning ways in the Championship, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Yakou Meite remains on the sidelines through injury, while fellow midfielder Oviemuno Ejaria is a major doubt.
Highlighted Player (Wesley Jobello):
Wesley Jobello is a Martiniquais professional footballer who plays for Coventry City in the English Football League One. He was born in Gennevilliers, France, on the 23rd of January 1994. His International career highlight is getting selected for Martinique's 40 man squad for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Highlighted Team (Reading):
Reading FC is a professional football club that play in the Championship. The club was formed in 1871 and Madejski Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.
The likes of Robin Friday, Trevor Senior, Steve Death, Shaka Hislop, Phil Parkinson, Alf Messer, Jimmy Quinn, Michael Gilkes, Ronnie Blackman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Martin Hicks are some of their more notable footballers. Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
Seeing that Aldershot rejoined the league in 2008 it remains to be seen if the rivalry is going to be re-established in near future. Swindon Town and Oxford United are considered Reading’s big rivals as well.
