Our prediction for this Championship match:
Pride Park Stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Derby County and Preston North End. The Rams have been struggling to live up to their expectations in the English second tier ever since head coach Frank Lampard took over the reins at Chelsea, so there is still room for improvement, as they are sitting in the 16th position in the Championship standings ahead of Matchday 17. Derby County have been struggling in the English second tier ever since head coach Frank Lampard took over the reins at Chelsea, but there is still room for improvement.
Saturday’s clash is of great importance for the hosts, but they face an uphill task against the promotion-chasing side. The Lilywhites are determined to return to the top flight (or top-tier division) after an absence of almost 60 years. Preston defeated the likes of Blackburn Rovers (3-2), Charlton Athletic (1-0) and Huddersfield Town (3-1) in the previous three league fixtures, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the away team.

Highlighted Player (Tom Lawrence):

Tom Lawrence is a Welsh footballer who plays as a winger for Championship side Derby County. Born in Wrexham (Wales) on January 13, 1994, Tom Lawrence played for Everton and Manchester United during his youth career.
The 180-cm-tall footballer, though, made no more than one appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League as he was immediately sent on loan to Carlisle United. The Wales international played for the likes of Yeovil Town, Leicester City, Rotherham United, Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town as well before signing a contract with Derby County. Tom Lawrence’s main position is left winger, but he is used as both second striker and right winger as well.
The Derby County man made his Wales debut in November 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Netherlands. The highlight of his career is the goal he scored against Georgia in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. His preferred foot is right and he wears No. 10 jersey at Derby County.
Highlighted Team (Preston):

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964. Preston’s main rivals are Blackpool and the two teams square off against each other in the West Lancashire derby. In their first ever meeting in the West Lancashire derby (1901) Preston recorded a 4-1 win over Blackpool.
Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are considered Preston’s big rivals as well. The colour of Preston’s shirts is white and they wear dark blue shorts.
