Our prediction for this Championship match:
Huddersfield Town will be aiming to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Blackpool when they take on Wigan Athletic in the Championship round 10. The Terriers used weekend’s break to clear their heads, and, no doubt, they will fight tooth and nail against the Latics in order to escape the relegation zone. Keep in mind, though, that all David Kasumu, Tyreece Simpson, Matthew Pearson, and Luke Mbete are sidelined with injuries.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Luton Town. Wigan Athletic have a chance to move closer to the playoffs berth, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on Danny Schofield’s men. As for the visiting side, both Jordan Cousins and Gwion Edwards miss out with injuries, while Rarmani Edmonds-Green is ineligible for the match.
Highlighted Player (Danny Ward):

Daniel Ward is a goalkeeper who was born on 22 June, 1993 in Wrexham, Wales. The 191-cm-tall shoot-stopper is a product of Wrexham Academy, but he did not make his senior debut for the club. After spending the 2010/2011 season at Tamworth, Danny Ward returned to Wrexham and on 30 January, 2012 he joined Liverpool for a fee of £100,000.
He made just two league appearances for the Anfield outfit and in 2015 he signed a loan deal with Morecambe. On 23 June he signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool, but he was soon sent on loan to Aberdeen. He played 21 games for the Scottish outfit and on 11 July, 2016 he signed a season-long deal with Championship team Huddersfield Town.
Danny Ward has 4 caps for Wales U21 team and he made his senior debut for the Dragons in a friendly against Northern Ireland on 24 March, 2016. Ward represented his homeland at the 2016 European Championship finals in France as he started the game against Slovakia.
Highlighted Team (Wigan):

Wigan Athletic are one of the winners of the English FA Cup. The Latics won the prestigious trophy in 2013, with the team upsetting Manchester City in the title game. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that Wigan played in the UEFA Europa League in the 2013/2014 season.
Wigan have been playing their home games at the DW Stadium since 1999 and they had played at Springfield Park in the past. Chorley are considered Wigan’s fierce rivals, but the two teams last met in 1971, when they competed in the Northern Premier League. The likes of Preston North End, Bury, Oldham Athletic, Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are regarded as Wigan Athletic’s rivals as well.
The club was founded in 1932 and they competed in the English Premier League from 2005 to 2013. The colour of Wigan’s home kit is blue and white (stripes).
