Our prediction for this Championship match:
MKM Stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Hull City and Ipswich Town, the two promotion-chasing sides. The Tigers aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach against the Tractor Boys. Hull City, though, failed to impress in a goalless draw with Watford at the weekend, which is probably the main reason why home win should not be considered. Forward Anass Zaroury is sidelined with injury for the home team.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town are eyeing automatic Premier League promotion and seeing that a win over Hull City will see them move one step closer to meeting the goal, we are tempted to place our bets on Kieran McKenna’s charges. Nathan Broadhead is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team. Earlier this season Ipswich Town outplayed Hull City 3-0.
Highlighted Player (Vaclav Hladky):
Born in Brno on November 14, 1990, Vaclav Hladky is a Czech footballer who plays for Scottish Premier League club St Mirren as a goalkeeper. Hladky spent his youth career at the likes of FC Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, and FC Zbrojovka Brno, and he continued playing for the Zbrojovka Brno reserve team at the senior level.
The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of MSK Breclav (loan) Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, FC Zbrojovka Brno (senior team), and Slovan Liberec before signing a contract with St Mirren. The Czech goalkeeper made his Scottish Premiership debut on January 23, 2019, in a 4-0 loss at Celtic.
Hladky played for the Czech Republic youth teams as well, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Czech Republic senior team. Vaclav Hladky wears the No. 1 shirt at St Mirren, and his preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Hull City):
Hull City are a professional football club that was founded back in 1904. The Tigers used to play their home games at Boothferry Park, but they moved to the KC Stadium in 2002. The stadium capacity is 24,450.
Hull impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and, as a result, they returned to the English Premier League. Hull City fans consider Leeds United their main rivals, but Sheffield United are regarded as Hull’s fierce rivals as well. Steve Bruce took over the reins at the club in 2012 and the experienced tactician helped the team book a place in the 2013/2014 FA Cup final, but Arsenal proved to be a big catch for the Tigers in the title decider.
Hull City finished the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign in 16th place in the standings to achieve their highest ever top flight finish. It has to be noted that Curtis Davies was named the team’s player of the year in the 2013/2014 season.
