Loftus Road will host Saturday’s football game between Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. The Hoops aim to build on a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough, but they face a tough challenge against the promotion hopefuls. Defender Jimmy Dunne continues to miss out with a shoulder injury, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
The Black Cats, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 5-0 win over Southampton. Sunderland look sharp in front of goal and seeing that they outplayed Queens Park 3-0 in their last meeting in London, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. Daniel Ballard is rated doubtful for the match, while all Jay Matete, Aji Alese, Corry Evans, and Ross Stewart remain on the sidelines through injuries.

Born on the 3rd of May, 1993, Alex Pritchard is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Huddersfield Town in the Championship. The English International has represented his nation at the under-20 and under-21 level, making his debut for the latter against Lithuania on the 5th of September, 2014.
The Orsett local began his club career at West ham's academy but later joined the Tottenham Hotspur academy in 2009. After establishing himself in the reserves, Pritchard signed his first professional contract with the club in 2011. However, he only ever made two appearances for the club, spending most of his time out on loan. Pritchard's first professional appearance came on the 2nd of February, 2013, in a 2-2 draw, playing in a Championship game for Peterborough United.
His primary professional goal meanwhile came playing for Swindon Town in August 2013, in a 2-0 league cup win over QPR. Further Loan stints at Brentford and West Brom succeeded his time at Swindon before he finally left spurs permanently to sign for Norwich City in 2016 on a four-year deal. A couple of seasons later, in 2018, Norwich sold the 26-year-old to Huddersfield, where he is currently on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Queens Park Rangers are well known as QPR. The capital club was founded in 1886 and Loftus Road Stadium is QPR’s ground. Loftus Road Stadium was opened in 1904 and the capacity of the venue 18,439. However, it has to be noted that no less than 35,353 spectators watched the game between QPR and Leeds on 27 April, 1974.
The Hoops finished the 1975/1976 First Division campaign in second position in the standings, just behind champions Liverpool. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but Queens Park Rangers made it to the FA Cup final in 1982 as well.
QPR were beaten by fellow capital club Tottenham Hotspur in the title game, but they did well to lift the League Cup trophy in 1967. Queens Park’s main rivals are Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham, but other clubs based in London are considered QPR’s rivals as well. The colour of QPR’s shirts is blue and white.
