Our prediction for this Championship match:
After failing to spoil Man Utd’s party at Old Trafford in the FA Cup last 32, Reading will look to return to winning ways when they face Watford on Matchday 30. The Royals aim to put an end to their four-game winless run, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Hornets. January signing Cesare Casadel should make his Reading debut this weekend, while all Andy Carroll, Sam Hutchinson, Liam Moore, and Dejan Tetek are out of contention with injuries.
Meanwhile, the visitors aim to stay in the playoffs berth, but given Reading’s fine home record, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of picking up more than one point from Saturday’s clash. It has to be noted that Watford chiefs signed the likes of Ismael Kone, Matheus Martins, Jorge Cabezas, Joao Ferreira, Henrique Araujo, Ryan Porteous, Britt Assombalonga, and Wesley Hoedt in the January transfer window.
