Our prediction for this Championship match:
All eyes will be on Liberty Stadium when Swansea City and Watford face each other in the Championship derby on Matchday 23. The Swans failed to turn their dominance into goals in a midweek draw with Reading, but they are surely capable of matching Watford on home soil. Experienced attacker Andre Ayew should keep his place up front, alongside Jamal Lowe, who was scoring goals for fun in December.
The Hornets, on the other hand, did well to beat Norwich City 1-0 in their last league fixture, and seeing that they are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in Saturday’s clash, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of Swansea City’s previous six league fixtures. Ismaila Sarr, who scored the winner against the Canaries, will be the man to watch in the away team.
