Our prediction for this Championship match:
Blackburn Rovers will be aiming to keep their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Championship when they take on WBA at the Hawthorns on Matchday 6. The Riversiders have been impressive at the back of late and we are positive that they are going to rely on their rock-solid defence in Saturday’s football match. However, seeing that the Ewood Park outfit are not regarded as good travelers, we do not believe that they are going to prevent WBA attackers from scoring this time out.
The Baggies are determined to climb to the play-offs berth in the Championship standings and seeing that they dropped four points in total in back-to-back draws with the likes of Reading and Derby County, home win should be considered. Anyhow, WBA are more of a team than Blackburn, who have not defeated the Baggies at the Hawthorns since 2010.

Highlighted Player (Jefferson Montero):

The 26-year-old Jefferson Montero is a lightning quick winger who plays for Swansea City in the English Premier League. After starting his career in the youth ranks at Emelec, Montero made his senior professional debut with them. But his first real impact was at Independiente Valle, which brought him a contract with Villarreal in 2009.
Montero, however, struggled to establish himself at the Spanish club and spent his time on loans with Levante and Real Betis. He then moved to Liga MX club Morelia, where he would go on to play more than 60 games in two years. His pace and guile caught the attention of Swansea who brought him to Premier League in 2014.
Montero was part of the 2007 Pan American Games winning Ecuador team – the first international trophy for the nation. He made his full debut in 2010 and has 56 caps and 10 goals to his credit so far.
Highlighted Team (Blackburn Rovers):

Blackburn Rovers have been trying to return to the Premier League ever since they dropped to the Championship in 2012. The Riversiders compete in the English second tier and they play their home games at Ewood Park. Blackburn were founded back in 1875 and they are one of the founding members of the Football League (1888).
Burnley are considered Blackburn’s main rivals and the two teams square off against each other in the East Lancashire derby. It has to be noted that Blackburn Burnley 7-1 in their first ever meeting in the East Lancashire Derby on 3 November, 1888. The Riversiders have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies (1911/1912, 1913/1914, 1994/1995).
Blackburn Rovers have clinched six FA Cup titles as well. Speaking of the club’s European success, the Riversiders won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2007. The colour of Blackburn’s home kit is blue and white.
