Our prediction for this Championship match:
Following an unlucky loss at Southampton in their season opener, Wrexham will look to give fans something to cheer about when they face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons survived Hull City in the EFL Cup round 1 on Tuesday and, no doubt, the triumph gave them a confidence boost. Experienced forward Ollie Palmer is pushing for a start after scoring a brace in the midweek triumph, while New Zealand defender Liberato Cacace remains in the recovery room.
The Baggies, on the other hand, defeated Blackburn Rovers 1-0 in the opening match of the season, with Isaac Price scoring the winner. WBA, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets on draw. The good news for the visitors is that defender Darnell Furlong is back to contention after serving his one-game ban in the EFL Cup loss to Derby.
