Slovan Bratislava
After rolling over Tobol in the Champions League first qualifying round, Ferencvaros will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host Slovan Bratislava to their Groupama Arena on Wednesday. The Green and Whites impressed in the 5-1 crushing of Tobol, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as hot favourites to beat Slovan Bratislava on home soil.
A man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Adama Traore, who scored a brace in the last match, while Nigeria international Fortune Bassey is widely expected to return to the starting XI. Slovan, on the other hand, failed to impress in the season opener, with the team losing to Podbrezova 2-1, and seeing that Ferencvaros have turned their Groupama Arena into a real fortress, home win should be considered. Vladimir Weiss is back for the visiting side after he was rested in the loss to Podbrezova.

Lasha Dvali is a Georgian footballer who plays for Hungarian side Ferencvaros as a defender. Lasha Dvali’s main position is centre-back, but he is used as both left-back and defensive midfielder as well. The 191-cm tall footballer has a contract with Ferencvaros until June 30, 2020.
Before joining the Hungarian champions, the Georgian defender played for the likes of Skonto, Reading, Kasimpasa, Duisburg, Slask, Irtysh Pavlodar and Pogon. Lasha Dvali is a product of Saburtalo football academy, but he played for Metalurgi Rustavi during his youth career as well. The Ferencvaros centre-back made his debut with the Georgian national team on March 2015 against Germany, coming as a substitute for Aleksandre Amisulashvili.
He has eight caps with the U21 team as well. Lasha Dvali will have a chance to prove his worth in the Europa League as Ferencvaros will compete in the European competition in the 2019/2020 season.

Over the years Slovan Bratislava have established themselves as the most successful Slovakian club. The Belasi clinched their 13th domestic trophy in the 2018/2019 season, finishing the campaign 14 points clear of second-placed Zilina. Slovan Bratislava welcome their rivals at Tehelne pole, the stadium with the capacity of 22,500.
The Tehelne pole club wear white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, while blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Spartak Trnava are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals, but they hold the rivalry with DAC Dunajska Streda as well. There have always been fireworks in matches between Slovan and Inter Bratislava, especially when both teams were part of the Czechoslovak First League.
In the 1968/69 season Slovan Bratislava won the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, with the team beating star-studded La Liga side Barcelona in the title game. It has to be noted that the likes of Cvetler, Hrivnak and Jan Capkovic scored for the Slovaks in the final of the European competition.
