Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Stadion Wankdorf will host Wednesday’s Champions League game between Young Boys and Villarreal, the two teams who are vying for a place in the last 16. The Swiss champions did well to beat star-studded Man Utd in their opener, but they failed to spoil Atalanta’s party in Bergamo in their second group game. Young Boys aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Yellow Submarine.
DR Congo attacker Meschack Elia will be one of the men to watch in the home team. Villarreal, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from an unlucky defeat to Man Utd, but beating Young Boys in Bern is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at Stadion Wankdorf, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Both Dia and Chukwueze are likely to miss the game with injuries for the La Liga outfit.
