Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
A spot in the Copa del Rey last 16 will be at stake when Linares and Sevilla square off against each other at Estadio Municipal de Linarejos on Wednesday evening. Los Sevillanos head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo, and the bookies see them as favourites to beat the lower-league side. All Montiel, Rakitic, and Nianzou are back from suspensions, while the likes of Corona, Delaney, Marcao, Papu Gomez, Rekik, and Telles miss out with injuries.
Both Lamela and Suso could sneak into the starting XI. Linares, on the other hand, booked their place in the last 32 thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Racing Santander, but seeing that Sevilla have been showing signs of improvement under new boss Jorge Sampaoli, away win should be considered. Poland international Samuel Corral, who scored the winner against Santander, should be recalled to Linares’ starting XI.
