Estadio Las Gaunas will host Wednesday’s Copa del Rey game between UD Logrones and Real Sociedad. The Segunda B side did well to beat Albacete in the last 64, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against La Real. Claudio Mendes, who limped off with injury against El Queso Mecanico, is unlikely to feature in the midweek clash, with Menudo likely to step up.
Meanwhile, the Basques faced no difficulties in a 2-0 win over Osasuna. Real Sociedad have slim chances of winning the La Liga title, and seeing that they are eager to go all the way in the Spanish Cup, away win should be considered. Mikel Merino is back from suspension, while all Fernandez, Barrenetxea, Merquelanz, Sadiq, Sola, and Turrientes should miss out with injuries for the La Liga outfit.
