Cannes will try to secure a historical participation in the Coupe de France semis when they face Guingamp at Stade Pierre de Coubertin. Les Dragons booked their place in the quarter-finals by beating Dives 5-3 and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Julien Domingues, who has been scoring goals for fun of late.
Sylvain Ripoll’s troops, on the other hand, did well to shock Ligue 1 side Toulouse in the previous round. As Guingamp have been involved in some high-scoring games of late as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. En Avant de Guingamp Cotes-d’Armor are a French football club based in the commune of Guingamp. Guingamp was founded back in 1912 and it has to be noted that a number of top-class footballers played for the club in the past. The likes of Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Fabrice Abriel and Vincent Candela all wore Guingamp’s shirt and, no doubt, the club served them as a springboard.
Guingamp returned to the Ligue 1 in 2013 and they have been competing in the French elite division ever since.
