Our prediction for this Coupe de France match:
Laval will be looking to make amends for a 4-2 loss to Quevilly Rouen when they take on Le Puy-en-Velay at Stade Charles Massot. Olivier Frapolli’s troops set up a meeting with the lower-league side by beating Nantes on the road and they are seen as favourites to win Wednesday’s clash as well. It has to be noted that defender Yohan Tavares misses the match with injury.
Roland Vieira’s troops, on the other hand, are on a three-game winning run in all competitions, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against the Ligue 2 outfit. Laval are more of a team than Le Puy-en-Velay and we predict that the visitors are going to advance to the quarter-finals. In their last meeting in a competitive match Laval defeated Le Puy-en-Velay 1-0, which goes in favour of our prediction.
