Rouen and Valenciennes take on each other at Stade Robert Diochon in what is expected to be a close Coupe de France encounter. The National league side did well to upset star-studded Monaco in the last 16, but Wednesday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for Les Diables Rouges. As Rouen failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to GOAL FC at the weekend, home win should not be considered.
Les Atheniens, on the other hand, aim to recover from back-to-back Ligue 2 defeats to Dunkerque and Rodez, but seeing that they have been involved in some low-scoring games of late as well, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals. As for the visiting team, Nigeria forward Mathias Oyewusi is pushing for a start after coming as a substitute in the 2-0 loss to Rodez at the weekend.
