Our prediction for this Coupe de France match:
Monaco will be aiming to recover from a heart-breaking 4-2 loss to PSG when they take on Saint-Jean in the Coupe de France last 64. Monaco are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s clash, but Adi Hutter’s men will have to prove their worth on the field. As the Austrian tactician is expected to mix the squad, all Minamino, Matazo, Caio Henrique, and Ouattara are pushing for a start. Dutch defender Jordan Teze is back from the Ligue 1 ban.
The lower-league side, on the other hand, defeated Versailles 2-1 in the previous round, but they will have a mountain to climb against Monaco, who are eager to win at least one trophy this season. A man to watch in the home team will be Mathias Capdeville, who has been scoring goals for fun in the French Cup, but the 27-year-old is unlikely to help the underdogs claim a major scalp in Sunday’s encounter.
