Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
After holding Chelsea to a 2-2 draw in the London derby, Brentford will look to return to winning ways when they face Aston Villa in the EFL Cup last 32. The Bees continue life without key players Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, with summer signing Jordan Henderson already adapting to the new surroundings. Former Liverpool man Fabio Carvalho is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute against Enzo Maresca’s troops, while both Paris Maghoma and Gustavo Nunes remain in the recovery room.
The Villans, on the other hand, have yet to record a win in the new Premier League campaign and given their offensive struggles, a low-scoring account is on the cards at Brentford Community Stadium. All Evann Guessand, Victor Lindelof, Harvey Elliott, and Donyell Malen are pushing for a start after coming off the bench in a goalless draw with Everton. Anyhow, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals.
Highlighted Player (Youri Tielemans):

Youri Tielemans is a product of Anderlecht football academy. The prolific midfielder was born on May 7, 1997 in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and he is regarded as one of the most talented Belgian players. Tielemans signed his first professional contract with Anderlecht at the age of 16 and in 2013 he made his first-team debut for the club.
The Belgian starlet came as a substitute in a 3-2 loss to Lokeren in the national championship. Youri Tielemans was making progress week by week and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. The 176-cm-tall footballer scored 26 goals in 139 appearances in the league for Anderlecht and in 2017 he signed a five-year deal with Ligue 1 side Monaco.
Tielemans joined les Rouges et Blancs for a fee of around €25 million. Speaking of his international career, the Monaco midfielder made his senior debut for Belgium in a 1-1 draw with Netherlands (9.9.2016.). He came as a substitute ten minutes before the final whistle, replacing Steven Defour.
Highlighted Team (Brentford):

Based in London, Brentford compete in the Championship and they were founded in 1898. Griffin Park has been the home ground of the club since 1904 and the capacity of the venue is 12,300.
The Bees have yet to play in the Premier League and it has to be noted that they made it to the FA Cup sixth round on four occasions (1937/1938, 1945/1946,1948/1949, 1988/1989). Brentford played in the League Cup round 4 in the 1982/1983 and 2010/2011 season and that is the club’s biggest success in the competition.
Brentford’s main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and they take on each other in the West London Derby. The rivalry with the Cottagers is probably the biggest and you should bear in mind that the clashes between the two teams have their history of crowd violence. The colour of Brentford’s shirts is red and white and they wear black shorts.
