Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
A spot in the EFL Cup last 16 will be at stake when Swansea City and Nottingham Forest lock horns in South Wales on Wednesday evening. The Swans set up a meeting with Forest by beating Plymouth on penalties, but they face an uphill task in the last 32. All Stamenic, Santos, and Fulton remain in the recovery room, but there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Reds, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems in back-to-back losses to West Ham United (0-3) and Arsenal (0-3). Nottingham Forest have yet to find their form under new boss Ange Postecoglou and with Swansea being a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are tempted to bet on the Championship outfit. Both Ola Aina and Murillo are major doubts, while Forest midfielder Nicolas Dominguez remains on the sidelines.
